The President of the Republic of Somaliland, His Excellency Muse Bihi Abdi, welcomed the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Ambassador Mike Nithavrianakis, who visited Somaliland on a business trip.
During the meeting, they discussed various important points, including the progress of joint projects between the UK and Somaliland governments, preparations for the upcoming elections scheduled for this year, and the longstanding bilateral relationship between the two countries.
President Muse Bihi Abdi expressed gratitude to the British Ambassador for the attention given to the collaborative projects between the two governments. Accompanying the President was the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mrs. Rooda Jama Ilmi. The delegation from Somaliland also included high-ranking officials from the Hargeisa office in England, such as Ilyas Malek, the head of the British office in Hargeisa, Christina Toepell, the deputy head of the Hargeisa office, and Khadar Muhamed.
