Presidential Decree

The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi has issued a presidential decrees JSL/XM/XKQ/222/1-880/062022 and JSL/XM/WM/222-881/062022 removing office from a number of gov’t officials and appointed their counterparts.  

We set out the Presidential Decree as follows:-  

Presidential Decree

PURPOSE: Dismissal 

1.  Omar Ali Abdullahi; Minister of Planning and National Development.

2.  Mohamed Haji Osman Jama; Minister of Agriculture Development.

3. Abdirahman Ali Abdi; Deputy Minister of Information, Awareness and Culture.

4. Axmed Xasan Nuur; Deputy Minister of Planning and National Development.

5. Saleeban Awad Ali Bukhari; Chairman of the National Insurance Agency.

6. Sahra Adan Yusuf; Vice President of the National Insurance Agency.

7. Abdiwas Mohamed Yusuf; Vice President of Quality Control Agency.

8. Ahmed Abokor Mohamed; Director General of the Ministry of Transport and Road Development.

Upon guidance of the constitution and having satisfied that credentials to hold senior public offices avail I hereby appoint below mentioned persons to the indicated positions within my government that take effect immediately.

Having Seen: Their knowledge, ability and experience;

After consultations, I Decided;

1. Ahmed Adan Ahmed Buuhane, Minister of National Planning and Development.
2. Abdihadir Iman Warsame, Minister of Agriculture Development.
3. Mohamud Warsame Jama Deputy Minister of Public Works, Land and Housing 
4. Mohamud Jama Warfa Deputy Minister of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Development.
5. Yurub Abib Abdi Omar Deputy Minister of Agriculture Development.
6. Abdulmajiid Ibrahim Muumin Deputy Minister of Employment, Social Affairs and Family.
7. Mukhtar Mohamed Ali Chairman of Quality Control Agency.
8. Guleed Musa Galal Chairman of the National Insurance Agency.
9. Hamse Abdi Ibrahim, Vice Chairman of the Quality Control Agency. 
10. Mohamed Hussein Ahmed, Vice Chairman of the National Insurance Agency.
11. Musa Jama Mohamed Director General of the Ministry of Transport and Road Development.
12. Fowsi Mohamed Farah Director General of the Ministry of Mines and Energy.
13.  Khadar Ibrahim Mohamed Director of Youth Development Fund.
