The President of the Republic of Somaliland and his delegation, after a two-week business trip to the eastern regions, were warmly welcomed back to the capital, Hargeisa.
Led by regional leaders, parliamentarians, ministers, and traditional leaders, the community greeted the president at Halleya in eastern Hargeisa, waving flags and holding wet leaves in celebration. The president walked among the crowd along the main road, acknowledging their warm welcome.
At the city center, where a large crowd had gathered, the president gave a brief speech. The Minister of Interior, Mr. Mohamed Kahin Ahmed, thanked the people for their support, while President Muse Bihi Abdi expressed his gratitude and spoke about the readiness of the eastern regions to defend the nation.
