The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi has issued a Presidential Decree JSL / XM / WM / 222-814 / 012022 appointing the Committee for the Registration of Political Associations and the Ratification of National Parties of the Republic of Somaliland.
The Presidential Decree read as follows:
PURPOSE: APPOINTMENT
Having Seen: Article 90 of the Constitution of the Republic of Somaliland;
Having Seen: Article 3 of the Amendments and Supplements to the Political Parties and Associations Act, Law Lr. 14/2011;
Having Seen: Constitutional Court Resolution MSD / DDL / 01/2022, dated 16/01/2022;
Having Seen: Their Knowledge, Ability and Experience, I am Satisfied that they are able to assume the responsibilities of these positions.
I Decided;
As of today, I have appointed the following officials to the Committee for the Registration of Political Associations and the Approval of National Parties of the Republic of Somaliland:
- Mohamud Ahmed Obsiye.
- Said Mohamed Elmi.
- Muhyaddin Yusuf Ibrahim.
- Adan Gedi Qayaad.
- Abdalle Ibrahim Mohamed.
- Mukhtar Abdi Jama.
- Mohamed Hassan Abdi Badde.
