His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, today at the Presidential Complex officially launched the third National Development Plan (NDPIII) for the next five years 2023-2027. The ceremony was attended by the President, the Vice President, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Cabinet Ministers and other distinguished guests.
Prior to the start, the Director General of the Ministry of Planning and National Development, Ahmed Yasin Mohamed, explained clearly the importance of this NDPIII for our nation, as it lays out the path forward for Somaliland in the next five years.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Shugri Haji Ismail Bandare along with Minister of Finance Development, Dr. Saad Ali Shire emphasized the importance of the NDPIII and how it could serve as a roadmap to Somaliland’s vision for the next five years.
President Bihi who concluded the ceremony praised the Ministry of Planning for the implementation of the NDPIII and described it as hope for the nation to achieve its long-term vision.
