H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi, President of the Republic of Somaliland, received Karin Johansson, the European Union Ambassador, at the Presidential Palace.
During the meeting, both sides discussed strengthening the partnership between the European Union and the Republic of Somaliland, as well as community development projects they are jointly undertaking. The discussions also encompassed the upcoming elections in Somaliland, security issues, and the overall stability of the Horn of Africa region.
The President was accompanied by H.E. Essa Kayd Mohamoud, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Diriye (Toorno), Minister of National Planning and Development. The Ambassador was joined by Ms. Caroline Adriaensen, Head of Cooperation, and Mr. Adnan Hagoog.
