The president of the Republic of Somaliland, the House of Elders and the House of Representatives avowed that Somaliland is ready for ceasefire in Tukaraq amid 26 June Celebrations in 2018. This came in response of the calls of International Community despite the war continues inside 70 km of Somaliland territory.

On the other hand, we reaffirm that the traditional leaders who visited Garowe toured on their own volition not on the willingness of the Republic of Somaliland. This follows after their counterparts came to Hargeisa for the same sake of peace.

Considering the importance of good neiborghood, stability, peace, Somaliland security forces do not intend to spill blood, but instead, they are ready to undertake security and avoid any provocations as our troops are Tukaraq which is inside Somaliland boundaries. Somaliland security forces are not on their way to invade another country.

The recently commenced conference in Brussels does not utterly concern Somaliland. Instead, issues pertaining Somalia are being discussed. The conference is similar to their conferences in Mogadisho and Garowe.

Further, the president of the Republic of Somaliland H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi has recently submitted an electoral bill prepared by NEC, opposition parties, Solicitor-General, and non-state actors which the cabinet ministers endorsed.
