Somaliland: President Concludes Training for New Recruits

President Muse Bihi Abdi today concluded training for a new batch of recruits at Abdilahi Askar College in Darar-Weyne, on the outskirts of Hargeisa. The training ceremony was attended by the President, the Minister of Defense, the commanders of the national army and the police, and the instructors who were giving the training. 

In his speech, President Bihi congratulated the new recruits on completing their training and urged them to serve their country and people with honor and dedication. He also praised the instructors for their hard work and dedication.

The Minister of Defense, Mr. Abdiqani Mohamud Aateeye (Farid), and the commander of the Somaliland National Army, Sergeant Nuh Ismail Tani, also spoke at the ceremony. They praised the new recruits for their commitment to serving their country and for their hard work and dedication during training.

Tani went on to say that the training was rigorous and that the new recruits had demonstrated a high level of commitment and dedication. He expressed confidence that they would be able to carry out their duties effectively and protect the country from all threats.

The new recruits were visibly moved by the speeches and expressed their gratitude to the government and the security forces for the opportunity to serve their country. They vowed to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and to do their utmost to protect Somaliland from harm.

The President’s visit to the Abdillahi Askar military base was a clear sign of his commitment to the security forces. He reiterated his support for the security forces and praised their work in maintaining peace and stability in Somaliland.
